What sort of Frames per sec should i get?

[Shane]

Hey guys,

wasnt sure where to post this one because i think its whole system releated not just video card or cpu.

What sort of Frames per second do you think my system should give in the following games?

1)Call of Duty 4
Settings set at:

Res - 1680x1050
All maxed settings

2)Crysis
Settings set at:

Res - 1680x1050
High ,4x AA

i wont say what FPS im getting just yet,i would like to see what your guess is and with what i tell you later if my system is been severaly bottlenecked somewhere.

I'm just thowing a couple guesses out;

COD4: 50-70
CRYSIS: 10-20

Not really sure though.

COD4 - 60-70
Crysis 15-25

Ahh might aswell spit the results out.

i get....

COD4:

91Fps,it doesnt realy move off this while in game.

Crysis:

25-27

is that just what my system can only handle or do you think theres a bottleneck somewhere?

[Droogie]

Well I only get 30-35 FPS on high for Crysis, so I'd say that's not too bad for your specs.

With CoD4, I know that the FPS is by default limited to 91 or so, you have to open the console whilst in game and change the values, then you will be able to see your true fps...

Whilst ingame you can open the console with "`"(the button next to 1)..and if you type in "\com_maxfps (number)"... (number) being the FPS you want to set.

ohh i see,il change that then and see what i get.
