what temp should i be shutting down at?

im having some serious ovreheating in my hardrives and im not sure when its best to call it a day and with what temps. they are running at 52c now and thats hight in itself, any suggestions? thanks in advance :confused:

in the bottom corner of the start menu the temp is at 42, is that avrage temp? :confused:

52 doesn't sound horrible really.

42 for what? but 42 is fine/good for about anything.


52 might be high, not sure though. I'd imagine hd's get rather hot. I don't know if I have any temperature gauge or anything on mine
