So I dual boot 2 OS's. I screwed up, and the bootloader I was using something happened to. Now when I boot I get this:

Boot0: MBR
Boot0: done
Boot1: /boot

I can get rid of the first 2, and boot into XP by using recovery console and using "fixboot" and "fixmbr".

But what does the last one mean? I need to get into there to get some files. Please help!

BTW guys- been a while since I've been here, hope yall are doin awesome!

Hey guys I hate bumping and everything, but I really need help! Does anyone have an ideas? Please. I am lost with my computer not booting...

Another question. Is there any way to hack XP 32 bit to install on a GUID (GPT)?

I can't help with the boot record, but if you need to get files, download a copy of Parted Magic. It's a Linux recovery CD that can read and write to NTFS and you'll be able to access the drive and get your stuff before you wipe the drive.

Yeah I have it, and I can boot into windows, just not the other OS. And its really annoying. Wiping later today.
