what to choose

i tired of internet explorer and i want to download another browser

which one is he fastest one and the best one??

maybe there some webpages where i can see???

i downloaded one Firefox and it had one problem

when i used internet explorer you wait and then fully loaded page shows up wwith pics

but in firefox it test apperars fast and then there differnet empty figures so you need to wait untill it loads

i tried on cable internet pc it was right

maybe thats why because i have dial-up??

PLAEASE HELP
 
I'm using FireFox right now and I love it. Tabbed browsing is really great and it doesn't have as many security holes and what not as IE does. There are many you can select from so you might just wanna do trial and error and see which you love best.

I don't think tabbed browsng is that great but a lot of people think it's hot stuff. I wouldn't say Firefox has less security holes, it just isn't a targeted browser so the holes that do exist aren't found/exploited

IE is faster because it is built into windows...But I had to switch to mozilla becuase of viruses and such.

LOL agreed ... for starters "tabs" dont show up as separate instances to my mouse :P

Not so much a fault of IE. Its the fault that they (Microsoft) have to design a flakey design .... market demand says so. Granted power users may prefer FF or Mozilla or Opera or whatever but how many power users are out there buying Dells and Compaqs etc :)
 
Same Dispute

It is not really fair to say one browser has more to offer than the other. That depends on the criteria that you choose to compare browsers with. I personally use IE 6, Opera and Firefox. They are all good browsers and each of them has something that I like and don't like. By the way, the tabs function in Firefox...well I see it as yet another alternative to the good old taskbar that IE rightfully takes advantage of. Anyway...so my suggestion is to try these browsers and stick with the one that suits you best.

Ahem, I recommend that Netscape be a GENERAL browser for business. It has some nice bookmark abilities. Do not use it for gamer surfing/entertainment downloads. I suppose you could say it is a "throw-away browser".....no checks and balances. :D

Other than that....Mozilla is the way to play...especially since version 1.0.1 is out now. Yes, a little better.

I wouldn't recommend it for anything, I see where you're comming from though. I find Netscape takes way too long to load and is just all around irritating. Yes, Firefox is nice, but just keep in mind it has some of the same vulnerabilities that IE has so contray to popular belief it isn't any more or less secure.
 
I agree, firefox is the best. I haven't had any problems with it except it is slow sometimes starting up. Just play around with firefox and see what you can do. If not, I have heard that opera is good. (p.s. thanks for the info, I won't try netscape :) )
