What to do when my favourite website is down?

Hello there, there's a website that I constantly visit, but the problem is, it goes down various times and for a long time. Here's the website:
http://www.eltwhed.com/
It's actually a forum, so I might be able to contact with the owner or the moderators. What should I tell them to prevent this downtime? Does anyone know what causes this downtime for the website? And thanks.

Websites go down because of technical issues most of the time. Usually they'll come back up, but it could be down for good.

It's most likely because of the hosting they are using. Ask them why it goes down so much, they will know not us.

I fail to see why you thought that response was unexpected. If we all had ESP we would know but we haven't. You had already answered your own question. Ask the forum owners, simples.

If its been down for that long then it's most likely been closed for good.
