What to do with extra network hardware

I was doing a computer job for a department store and they were upgrading their systems POS, PRINTERS, ETC... anyways, I got a CNet CNFH - 608 100/ 10Mbps Dual Speed Hub. It's like they said they never really used it. My question is what benefit can I have from using this or should I just stick with my linksys router I have now? Is there anyway I can add this piece of hardware to help secure my system just curious let me know. PS; I'll post a pic

Hubs aren't very efficient as they flood the network with packets, which in turn cause a lot of packet collision in the network. I'd say sell it on eBay but they're not worth very much.

If at any point in time you need more Ethernet ports, just add in a switch.

I seen them on EBAY for $75.00. I don't know what they go for new. I would get rid of it for like 60 bucks. So the regular router I have is better? I thought since the other piece of hardware cost more money it would have more features and be a better product but I guess not. Thank you for the advice greatly appreciated,

Yes the router you have may be a simple home user router, but this hub will not help you in any way.

And you saw them on ebay going for $75, but if you look under the completed listings I saw only one that finished, it got to $65 but didn't sell.
