What to do with unused battery?

Hi,
I have a new battery for my laptop, but I don't use it (because I have already 2) and I don't know what to do with this battery: use all 3 batteries cyclically or leave new battery in box?

I would use them all.. keep them all charged up and keep two in your laptop bag (or whatever you use to store your laptop).. then, when one runs down, replace it with one of the full ones, and so on..

I have two batteries and I get about 6-7 hours of uptime on my laptop, depending on what I'm doing.
