lol, this isn't just fun and games for me, I'm having such a hard time deciding what to get it feels like a chore, lol.

BTW Nick, you voted for 6.

Poor you, trying to decide how to spend 5k on Newegg! :D, lol jk. yea I voted six

I'd suggest you don't get the most expensive one (*gets flame shield ready* :P) because I don't think for example that you'd find a difference that's worth $400 between 3 and 6.

Just my 2 dollars (since we're talking in thousands! ;))

Spend that extra on a nice lens maybe? or 1 1/2 HD4870's? :D

LOL! And ramodkk, I know I don't need to spend all of it on a laptop, I was originally going to go with laptop 1 as it was great for the price, but IDK, lol. I'm also getting 2 4870's for my desktop. :)

BTW, the HP has a Blu-Ray drive built-in, I forgot to mention that.

Get the HP, best bang for the buck IMO

Id definately pick Laptop 5 out of all of those, due to screen resolution, half decent video, ample storage space, although you didn't put how much RAM it has.

now i also want to know who picked laptop 6 just because it is the most buck :P anyway i picked 3 or 5

since you'll be upgrading your desktop as well for gaming, i picked laptop 1 if you'll just be using the laptop for normal tasks and light gaming.
