What to look for in a monitor?

response time is how long it take the screen to display a signal, 2ms is better then 16ms but it depends on what you want. i'd say the one you posted a link to looks a really good screen, post a link of the other screen and ill tell you which is better.
 
Wow. Anything with a 16ms response time would be almost unplayable in a game that requires precise timing (OK, slight exaggeration =P but you definitely wouldn't be able to play as competitively).

Never seen a response time so high...
 
The only displays I've seen with such a horribly response time are Mac displays, which are absolute junk. That monitor you've picked out up there for $320 is a fantastic monitor, don't worry about some $1000 display. Just because it costs more doesn't make it better.
