what to upgrade?

what would you upgrade on my rig?

im thinking at a later date (near christmas) upgrading to a e8400 or if theres an affordable 45nm Quad then upgrading to quad core.

i wont be upgrading my 8800GT for a long time to come

what would you upgrade though?

maybe your mobo and like you said your processor.. other than that it looks pretty good to me

I wouldn't upgrade anything right now. Your processor is perhpas the weakest link, but overclocked it won't hold you back at all.

thats definatly a no no....its DDR3 compatiable,45nm compatiable and has the intel p35 chipset.
there would be no point whatsoever upgrading it.

Sound? If you only have a 2 channel setup then I would definitely upgrade for a 2.1 or a 5.1 setup.

A better processor would also be what I would say too.

its not realy worth the upgrade from a 8800GT to a GTS,the GTS is not that much powerfuller if you compare them to each other in Gpu review.

if i was going to upgrade my gfx card at a later date it would probably be something like a 9800 GX2 or a newer ATI card.

im pretty sure my onboard high definition is 5.1,But i only use 2.1 speakers.
good enough for me.

like you said i think if i upgrade anything it will be the processer and maybe the ram at a later date.

RAM seems fine. To me, seeing that the CPU is overclocked, the RAM is at a... good speed, and you have a large hard drive and very nice GFX, I think everything's fine, although CPU would be 1st on the list if I were you.
