I was wondering if anyone here could help me out. Im a 1st year college student, and having a hard time deciding between the 2 year Associates in Applied Science degree, that isnt transferrable to a 4 year college, and the A.A. that would take me to the 4 year school and would eventually lead me to recieve a bachelors.
The 2 year degree is a A.A.S. in Computer Information Technology. The description says,
This program prepares students for jobs in the field of PC support specialist, help desk specialist, microcomputer specialist, software specialist, and information systems specialist.
Then, the A.A. is in Computer Information Systems. This description says,
This pre-major is for students who want to pursue a 4 year degree in computer and information sciences and work in business or related fields. Careers include finance analysts, actuaries, statisticians, economists, and positions in designing, testing, and implementingcomputer programs in various segments of business and industry, management, operations, and business planning.
Sooooo....I want to be the problem solver.I think thats the PC support specialist, help desk specialist, or something like that right? Fixing things basically is what I wanna do. Which path would be a better one to chose and why...? Thanks for your input!!!
