what type of ethernaet cable do i need

getting a new dell pc what type of ethernet cable to i need the pc spec says 10/100 ehernet lan and the cable needs to connect between only the pc and my modem,thanks
i have seen one on the tescodirect site called a patch cable it says its connectors are rj45 would this be right
