What Type of Memory?

I've decided that I'm going to buy a Intel P4 3.4 Ghz 478 processor. What type of memory should I buy with this upgrade? Opinions? I have a gig of sluggish DDR memory right now

You're limited to what your mobo can use. Do you know what motherboard you have? If not, check it with CPU-z. Make sure it can support that processor too!

yeah the fastest ram you can get with a socket 478 processor pc3200.

no it isn't, you can put whatever speed you like in, i have pc4000 in my skt478 - why?......because i overclock my cpu.

lemme be more specific. you can put any 184 pin ram into it.
