I don't know man... I looked around and I can't find squat about it! However, but the price and online specs I found about he laptop, I'd say it's a Celeron.
Strange thing is when I was searching for info on that laptop, I was finding much older machines... I know Dell uses some AMDs, but I thought the laptop was before they began using them.
this is crazy so do you guys think that it is a AMD processor? also is it anygood? i need a pc laptop just for the internet and it beats sitting at a desk which i want to avoid. thanks
Stranglehold & myself were right. It is a Turion 64 X2 TL52 1.6GHz. Then TOO linked it on the dell site (doesn't seem to work for me now but it did yesterday). Turions are decent processors and will be plently for web surfing.
They are basically mobile athlon 64s. If it wasn't for the Core Duo it would be a very good mobile processor. As it is, battery life is a bit short but it's got plenty of processing power.
