What video cards should I be looking at?

I'm using E8400 @ 3.6 gigahertz and 8800gt 512 on a 24" monitor @ 1920 x 1200.
I wondering what's the most powerful video card I could have and yet my CPU won't be a bottleneck to it.
I prefer to stick to nvidia cards.
Thanks in advance!

With the E8400 overclocked to that (and be sure your temps are not too high)
You should be able to use a GTX 260-like this one

But before you buy anything be sure you have an adequate power supply, this specific card has
"Power Requirements:
Non-SLI: 630W Minimum Power Supply
SLI: 680W Minimum Power Supply"

And if you don't want to do that, a 9800GTX+ isn't a bad option either, I have it and I can run pretty much anything on max (including Crysis Wars with a little bit of overclocking.)

lol nah 295 is costing my 2 arms and 2 legs :P
I'm looking at 260+ or 275.
However, I want to get one which has a better price/performance ratio and I wonder with such an upgrade, will i notice a significant increase in performance? coz i think 8800GT is still a great card. It's overclocked by 80 Mhtz.

For my PSU, I'm using a Corsair 650W.

At the resolution you're running, I'd get the GTX 275. All the reviews I've seen suggest it's worth the additional cost over a GTX 260. Here's a few articles, if you want to take a look...

According to overclockersclub, it won't be widely available until the 14th of this month. They're all sold out at the egg.

+1, the 1792mb version looks really nice in the fact it provides extra memory, something that you cant just add to a card, and its helpful when running higher res's like 1920x1200.
