Hi all
i have 4 pin 12v rgb fans, the first fan has a sata connection with a female 4 pin socket, the rest have the female connection with a 4 pin plug with tabs either side that fit in the female sockets, now this is great if you want to daisy chain and you like white color fans is there a solution to change colors as the hubs all have the normal 4 pin plug,
thank you in anticipation

WOW, a explanation and question all in one sentence. If I'm reading your question right, you would need fans that had male and female connections.

Hi thank you for your reply i already have the fans, i would like to know how to connect them so i can control the colors either by software or a remote. the biggest problem seems to be that the hubs for sale use the normal 4 pin connectors and not the ones i have pictured,
thanks

ok i do not want to chain them as that's how they are at the moment, but they only show default white, now i have 3 other pc's and i have had to use a hub and change the colors with a remote and one i change the colors with software but on these fans ( ie the ones with the Plugs shown above) i have not found a solution apart from change all the fans, i was just hoping someone could help cheers, and thank you for taking time to reply,

You need to tell us what motherboard you have. Most motherboards will have led ports for rgb fans.

it's a msi tomahawk b450 but i know mobo's have 4pin and 3 pin headers as i have dealings with different boards but the main point is the picture of the plugs to the fans. how i can get control of them i was hoping someone had experience of them

That motherboard does have 2-12 volt LED rgb ports but I don't think its gonna help you in this instance. Do you know the brand and model of fans you have? You may need a special hub/controller to do what you want.

Yeah your going to need a hub with that board. It has a 5050 RGB LED strip 12V connectors but I don't think that will work with fans.
