What will be needed to make a file & game server?

I want to make a server for CoH and some files for a few ppl and some biz's. What OS will I need? What kind of components?

I'll bump for you as well...I waited 3 weeks before anyone said anything on mine. I feel your pain. One thing you might try is going to the CoH website and see if you can find what the recommend or contact one of the servers that you play on and ask what they run.
