Hey everyone i need some help. I have no idea why but about 6 months ago my computer seemed to be noticably slower. Ive restored it completely a few times since than and each time it still doesnt make much of a difference. Its an E-machines T2482. It is really slow like when on the internet especially. I will open the explore (mozilla 3) i will open a page and it take a while. I Have fast internet from comcast and it is really fast on my brother windows vista laptop. But on here its so slow and when playing say music through itunes and opening a page it will sometimes cut my music out. Heres my computers specs if someone knew what would help that would be amazing!!! THANKS!!!

Tanner

Hey man..the machine is bit older now and has a single core amd cpu and very little ram 256mb if the spec sheet on emachines site is correct?@.

the ram it takes is pc2100 ddr and its pretty old and slow now..I'm betting that u can do 1GB ram max.

You may want to look into a new desktop? you can upgrade to another retail desktop for very cheap and it will be worlds better for you.

Hope that helps a bit.

my download speed was at 4139 KB/s and the upload was at 361 KB/s which if im correct isnt to bad, i also checked my brothers windows xp, his was pretty much the same
