Hi there,
I would like to know how to fix and build computers. I have used computer for years but don't understand much inside them. I know that they contain a hard drive, graphics card, ram, motherboard etc... but don't know much more. To be good an fixing/building computer you would have to know about all the different types of, connectors, motherboards, hard drives, ram etc...
What book do you think is best for me?
Thanks,
John.

This guide is amazing - http://www.computerforum.com/104641-how-build-computer-step-step-photos.html.
About repairing the components I do not know much.
But diagnosing what component is at problem is easy.
All you need is a motherboard speaker and a motherboard manual, with respective beep codes. :D
As for software, most software problems are easy to fix,a malware/virus scan and some defragmentation and registry cleaning will most probably fix it.
But a fresh install of OS is the ultimate solution.
