what would be a good alternative for a x300?

Well.. im posting this, basicly because my dad just bought a new monitor for his pc, that monitor has DVI and VGA connectors (+included ables)
but his X300 only has a VGA output.

its a HP pc, and the grafic's card is pci-e. I'm basicly looking for a grafic's card with a DVI output, low power consumption (since upgrading the psu in that pc is out of the question), on PCI-e and preferably passively cooled.

so.. what card would match those spec's? and is about just as powerfull (or a tad more powerfull) than a x300?

note: he doesnt do much grafically intense work with his pc, so no need for anything too fancy :o
 
x1300 or 7300 would be a good choice, but IMO, theres really no difference between DVI and VGA that i've noticed, especially if it means spending $30-$50 more for a new video card.
 
well... I still need a present for his birthday ^^

I had a look at the x300SE.. ic ould buy one for 20 euro's wich doesnt seem so bad.
