Ok, again, I have questions regarding video cards :)....what is yall feelings on this card, keep in mind it will be used for rather 'hardcore' gaming, and I would like to run most things at high graphics levels. You think I will see a large negative dif. between this and a 256 card. And, prolly really stupid to ask but, my 256 5200 PCI card isnt all that good, will I see a great improvement over that card....(I ask because I have made countless computer purchases that have went south...)

I would not be buying from there, just look at the card :)
 
1. You will probably notice a "nice" difference :D
2. Make sure you got the AGP slot, you said you had a PCI gfx card before
3. amount of ram is not all that important on low end video cards (ie. 5200, radeon 9500, probably won't matter too much on nice cards either though..)
 
you will see a considerbale difference between the pci and agp cards (agp being faster and designed specifically for gfx cards). and not all 256MB cards are better than 128MB, there are other things to check aswell
 
going from a geforce 5200 to a geforce 6600GT you will see a huge difference. The 6600GT is the best of all the midrange cards and performs quite good. the geforce 5200 was always a low end card and not a good one at that.
