Whats a good motherboard to upgrade to

Alright heres the story... I built my computer not too long ago. The specs are in my signature. I play Warhammer: Age of Reckoning now, and it has some pretty epic battles and my computer bogs and I can hit 10fps for awhile.

Im looking to upgrade, the cheapest way possible. I havent been keeping up on the new/best products so Im looking for some advice. I was thinking of just upgrading my mobo, one with 2 pci express slots, and then buying another 8800gts and running them both. Does this sound like a reasonable idea? Im not trying to spend more then $400-$500 here.

Any advice is appreciated. Any specific product recommendations would be awesome as well....

You can get a GeForce mobo for around 70-150 from tigerdirect that supports SLi and the 8800 gts for I dont know how much from tigerdirect, and all in all that will come to less than $400 I think
 
it'd be cheaper to just replace the 8800gts with an ati 4870. Is much cheaper and gets you about the same power 2 8800gts will give you.
 
Dont know anything about comuters,trying to learn.
How,what and where can i find my motherboard.
