Whats A good PC gaming monitor???

Ne one know a good PC gaming monitor under 250 dollars im fine with a CRT just looking for a good 19 inch or higher that can support high resolutions. and also do CRT monitors support DVI?? im kinda confused with DVI cause there are like diff kinds isnt there. i juss want the DVI connector that can connect to my video card cause right now im using the VGA adaptor on it.

Theres hardly a noticable difference (if there is one) between VGA and DVI. And any CRT would do, since theres not much difference between them. If you want an LCD then try to get one thats less than 12ms, greater than 500:1 contrast, and greater than 250:1 brightness.

This is only true on certain monitors. Some screens there is a fairly large difference.

No CRTs don't support DVI that I know of. You need not worry about different versions of DVI. Just worry whether you have a DVI connector on your vid card. If you go with a CRT you won't have DVI. Also when it comes to "good" gaming monitors you either want to spend a nice chunk on a good LCD or spend what's in your budget for a CRT. If you want an "OK" gaming monitor that will possibly show ghosting then go for it with your budget.

I absolutely love my Dell P1110 21" CRT, which I got used for $100. Supports 2 inputs and can run 1600*1200 at 85hz.
