my motherboard is a ga-819-45g pro can i use any core 2 duo cpus i dont think so lol

or should i just get a new mobo??

The Pentium 4 and Pentium D, I would stay away from.. Get a new mobo and a Core 2 Duo...

Dont waste your money on a P4EE, even an E6600 will outperform it easily. I would use that money and buy a new motherboard and Core 2 Duo.
