well ive been thinking about it lately and still havent came to a conclusion

liquid cooling or fan cooling?

which is fasteR??

Fans -
Can be noisy
Can get clogged with dust
Easy and cheap

Water -
Almost silent
Little dust
complicated setup
could leak

Both should be cleaned every so often...

which is faster? what do u mean by that?

liquid cooling can get expensive while air is vry cheap
liquid cooling is quiet, fans are loud
liquid cooling can leak and fry ur system, air cant
air cools one to two degreed celsius better than water does

so its rly up to u, just depends on how loud or queit u want it to be

faster......... errrrr as in set up? cuz thats the only thing i can think of. well faster is cooling ofcorse. water cooling is quite better, but there is the danger and risk ofcourse. and also u gotta change the water and stuff. so it costs more. if u get a zalman, theypretty cheap, and heavy as hell. get the all copper 7700. its lik 120mm. lol

the water cycles round (thanks to a pump) into the sort of storage tank, called a radiator, this has a large surface area to cool the water down. You normall have a fan near the radiator to pull cooler air over it.

I would stick with fans Reason, Easy to set up, Quite noicey but you can live with that, You gert used to it after a while

With water cooling theres always the risk of leaking, And personally i would stick with fans causer cheaper:)

that raises an interesting question, how often do they actually leak?

precisely, ive never heard of anyones leaking befoire, and if it does leak then its most probably due to human error when setting it up. but fans are cheaper, safer and if you like alot of noise, and i know alot of you do, then the fans would be the best idea.

Does the water not get warm from the CPU, or does it involve a cooler for the water?
Yes, water gets warm by CPU, heat from CPU is absorbed by the block and water cools the block, heat then is transfered to water and water is cooled by the radiator, thats the cycle :)

not unless you dont check it and make sure hoses are secured ....there is always risk on everything, even with fans.:)
