both are about the same price. i dont know much about it but if someone could help explain which is better and why that would be awsome.

I would personally go with the 6800gt then upgrade to sli or higher down the road.

I second that... The XT's about half as powerful. Overall, you'd probably have about the same performace with SLI, but with only one card, that's less noise, less power consuption, less heat, less to fail...

However, I'm still not all for the duel processors, duel core, or duel video cards
