the 9250 and the fx5200 are some of the worst cards on the market. don't buy one of them, they would be a waste of money. what type of slot do you have?
i highly suggest building a new computer if you dont have an AGP or pci-e slot. you'll need one of those in order to play oblivion or those other games. what quality are you looking for? the 9250 and the fx5200 will play them on lowest quality, if they'll play them at all.
as for the 512mb comment, don't even ask. if you bought a 9250 with 512mb (which they don't make, thank god) you would be wasting your money.
just looking at the thread title you'll want an x1800xt or x1900xt (or higher) to play these games on highest qualities... or 7800gt or 7900gt if you go nvidia, but i suggest an ATI card. these cards are around the $200-$300 range.
if you want medium quality you'll want an x1600xt or 7600gt video card. an x1600pro or 7600gs would do, but they're not as good. these cards are in the $100-$200 range.
if you can find an x800xt or x850xt (either with pe after it, stands for platinum edition) i highly suggest picking one up. they're great cards for the performance you get out of them versus the price they normally cost.
if i were you i'd check into ebay or something like that..
