sounds like your backlight is going. since this is in the laptops section im assuming this is a laptop. is this laptop still under warranty if it is you can send it in and get it replaced.

hmm...It probably is, it's less than 2 years old. Well, I was going to get a MacBook this summer anyway. Strangely, though, it's not doing it since I restarted. It's just random right?
