Whats more secure? An AMD CPU or a INTEL CPU?What fights more against viruses and spyware to protect you computer?

There isn't really much difference, the only thing you might gain is execute disable bit on the intel CPU (not sure if AMD has an equivalent yet) but it's not a real big security thing. Security (relating to spyware) really comes in at the software level as opposed to hardware (with the exception to hardware firewalls) the CPU brand really doesn't matter

Didn't really think this one through eh buddy :)
For the most part you choice of cpu will not matter in this region.
With the possible exception of the enabling execute disable bit feature in some of the intels that protect from some buffer overflow issues, but i wouldn't worry about.

i dont think they are very dissimilar but perhaps the new amd processors offer better protection but i wouldnt base buying a comp on this. hey and its just a theory but wouldnt the xeon processors have to be pretty secure?
