what's so good about this?

That is a powerful workstation card for people working with computer aided design & digital content creation on a professional level.
 
So if you were to compare that card to say...a 6800 Ultra in a gaming situation, which would perform better?

It's a card that is for the professional use like design etc., not recommended for playing games , ATI has FireGL.
 
like the 3DLabs 512MB card, not meant for gaming. That reminded me of the MX400 or something when i first saw it.

The fact that its 512MB doesnt matter nearly as much as the fact that its a 3DLabs card :D (throw OxygenLabs in there too) :D
