Title says all folks.
Additional details: I have a 500 W power supply unit and a PCI-Express 2.0 x16 slot.
I would also appreciate some links :D

^I don't recommend XFX cards. I got one and it was the biggest mistake I ever made. I get random freezes and reboots. I think it has to do with the power levels (going from idle to load).

That sounds faulty rather than an issue with XFX. I personally have never had an issue with an XFX card, however I still wouldn't get one because their support is hit and miss rather than for their low quality products, which I have yet to find

I agree on the 6770, though do try to find that little extra to go for a 6850, the difference is worth the extra cost

On my second XFX 5770, overall their tech guys were extremely helpful with my RMA, testing of my old card, and replacement.

97.5C is a bit high for a 5770 but I have logs to prove it and many say the card will never hit that temp.

I have a friend with a 6770 having issues, not overheating, but hopefully the 6770 overall runs cooler than the 5770. I'm happy with my $168 XFX card, minus $20 to ship the old one in, but I still have a double lifetime warranty.

Only other brands I may look into in the future are EVGA and MSI, if I don't go with XFX again.

Nothing wrong with Zotac, Gigabyte, Sapphire or PowerColor (from the top of my head) eiter. In fact the first three on that list have some great cards and support

Yea I have a Gigabyte 9800GT going strong in my second system and have had Sapphire cards in the past that have been solid. I've had XFX too and the quality was good, but it was taking a risk because of the not so great support. Right now am on Evga and the card before this was too, just a shame they don't manufacture AMD cards too.

The only trouble I've ever had with a GPU was with Asus, but then again the only problem with motherboards I have had have been with Asus, and the only trouble with warranty has been with Asus. Not my favourite brand ;)

5770 and 6770 are the same card with the addition of i think blu-ray playback support or something like that, nothing really big, no performance/heat changes really.

I don't know about the quality of Zotac, but i looked them up once and their rebates were just terrible. All the others are good, but idk about powercolor, they seem lower quality to me but not saying they are.
