I'm going to be playing WOW and want a card thats overkill for the game ( can run max settings without sweat)
currently hav a 7300gs that runs it on low settings and it overheats 24/7
price range 150-170usd

He has an MSI 8600gts up ya know.. The 7950gt may outperform it a tiny bit but it isn't DX10 compatible. The 8600gts is the way to go, no buts.

aw...Just bought the 7950gt after looking at the benches, i noticed that the 8000s had dx10 but i dont think i really need it. hope i made a good decision, and thanks guys

The 7950 is a great card. As long as you don't have plans of going vista and DX10 you made a good choice.

DX10 is here, and that 7 series will be useless in no time.
