Mac (and maybe Linux). Windows only supports 4GB of RAM, while Mac supports at least 16GB.

lol, windows has been able to support more then 4gb of ram for the past several years.
you just need to get a 64bit version, and they all support 8gb of ram or more

RAM is dependant on the CPU, 32 bin CPU's can only address 4 gigs, 64 bit can do 16 terabytes (I think).

If you have a 64 bit OS, you will be able to use the RAM, but 64 bit is kind of shaky at this point.
