What's The Best

I find it hard to considering anything "the best" as everything has it's pros and cons. I mean, how much better is that board really than say some $150 board?

There really is no definite answer. All motherboards have pros and cons, and it really depends of what sort of features you are looking for. The importance of features such as Chipset vs. FSB vs. onboard video vs. SATA ports etc really depend on the consumer and how they prioritize these things.

Really depends on what processor your using ...
As TOO and Oscar said, there isnt a "best" motherboard out there. For one, it depends if you want SLI or CrossFire. It also depends on if you will be using the computer mainly for gaming, for a server, etc.
