Hi,
in the front of my desktop theres a component with a bunch of slots on it. I think its a smart media component. It has a usb slot, a slot to put my memory from my camera and a slot to put my memory from my phone, also a few other slots. Ive tried the usb, phone and camera memory slots and nothing happens. Its internal and is plugged on my mother board where there are 7 pins.
It would help if I knew what it was in my device manager to know if its installed. If I knew what it was I could also find the drivers for it. so i need some help!?

i cant find that in device manager. Im trying to figure out what it would be listed as under device manager

There might be a driver that you have to install to get it to work. Or you could have plugged the cables in wrong.

it looks like it was plugged in the wrong 7 pin slot on my motherboard.
I guess its called a usb mass storage device, kinda odd. And whenever I safely remove a memory card from it, it is no longer shown in the my computer window.
I guess when i find the driver for it it will be more stable.
