Ok, I purchased an SLI computer about 2 weeks ago but the 6800 GT's are on back order for another 2 weeks. The wait is getting to be ridiculous and if i drop down to regular dual 6800's i could get it alot sooner. I researched the cards (6800 by MSI and the 6800 GT by EVGA) and the only real difference between the 2 was the 6800 GT uses GDDR3 memory and the 6800 uses regular DDR. Question: Is the performance difference that big? What are the perks of waiting for and getting GDDR3? What would be the negatives of getting the regualr dual 6800's?
