Whats the difference between F.E.A.R. and F.E.A.R. Directors edition???

OK, I just saw this video and it made me wonder, there must be a huge difference between regular and directors edition. I know some scenes are from the new F.E.A.R. Extraction point, but the other I never saw!! They were on the box, but I never seen them before on the game!!!! WHY IS THIS SO???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
