What's the difference?

DVI/HDMI = Pure digital (Best quality)

VGA = analog (Not as good qulality)

Vga is not as good as dvi or hdmi.:)

VGA - Analog
DVI - Digital
HDMI - Digital home entertainment interface with audio.

You would use HDMI to connect to a home theater receiver. Good for using a flat screen TV as a monitor. DVI is a standard digital interface for your monitor. Most modern LCD monitors support it and it would be the current standard. VGA is the old analog standard that you would use in the absense of the other two.
 
HDMI- High Definition Multimedia Interface- THe standard for high def tv's and sound
VGA- Analong D-Sub15 Connector, the previous monitor standard.
DVI- Digital Video Interface- mostly used for computer monitors.
