whats the differnence bewteen integrated FSB or non integrated

cause newegg has that and i dont know what the diffence is and its amd processors i am asking about

When newegg says "FSB = Integrated" what that really means is that the memory controller is built into the CPU (i.e., on-die memory controller ... which is a very good thing btw).

AMD K8 based processors have this on-die memory controller and do not feature a FSB per se... instead they have what is called a Hypertransport (which is, for all intents and purposes ... a fullduplex FSB whereas 'normal' FSB is only halfduplex)

As i outlined in CPU101 (read it! :D) ... all K8s have this "integrated frontside bus" .... what Newegg says or doesnt say is irrelevant because newegg is mostly retarded :)

yeah their nice and generaly have lots of free shipping, so if they do its prob better to go with zipzoomfly if not then id say newegg is more trustable. Tigerdirect.com can have good prices but they arent worth it for me, i live in Illinois and i get charged tax and shipping because they are housed in naperville
