well.. im Oc'ing my xfx 6800GT a bit.
i reached 425/1150. on stock cooling. my temp under full load. ( directly after playing 4 hours BF2 nonstop :P ) was 65*C.
tough.. if i push it anything above this frequenties, it doesnt pass the nvidia driver test ( coolbits, integrated )

any idea's if aftermarket cooling would help? i think it wouldn't still pass the test, because of the low temps on stock cooling. im not shure tough.

if i remember correctly your card uses the same memory as the 6600gt, i found that 1150 is about tops for the memory, although i managed to get it to 1175 recently by replacing the standard thermal compound with as5.

It may be that the card is at its max, i know when i OC my card past what i have now, my computer either locks up, restarts, or goes black even when the temp is ~50C. And 65C is pretty cool for an OC'd card under full load, so i dont think cooling will make much of a difference.

I Have a NV5 cooler on mine and i saw i slight difference of 5c drop :( and still couldn`t get it past 400/1000 stable

I have gotten my 6600GT from 500/1000 to 570/1225 on stock cooling. I ran 3DMark03 fine, yet it was really hot, about 85c. Rigtht now I have it at 560/1175.
