Whats the next step up from Radeon HD 5750?

Hey guys,

I won the XFX Radeon HD 5750 at an HP retail training a couple years ago and it still runs the games I play at max settings though I don't play much...(Doom 3, RAGE).

At the time I know is was a $100+ card but I see that the HD 5450 is now over $100...

...what is my next step up for a Radeon card? And can you explain their succession model system?

...or should I just roll with this until Doom 4/RAGE 2 comes out and figure out what I need?

Next step up is the 5770/6770. The numbers are exactly as you would think, the bigger the number the better, as long as it is the same generation.

Yep, adding to the generation thing, a 6450 wont be better than the 5740, but the 7750 is much better.

Where are you seeing the 5450 for over 100? It's only like 40 at most i think on newegg.

If you are going to upgrade, it wouldnt be worth it unless you started playing more games
