Hi there,
I joined to ask this in case anyone here has any good answers, but I don't feel too out of place here in any case, as I built the machine I'm typing on.
I want to make some vids in a presentation style -- no camerawork, just images, and probably not even text. I'm wondering what I can use. If anyone knows I'd be very grateful for their knowledge. I've been watching people's presentations of their presentation software for a while and I still am not sure what I need.
I'd like to upload an audio file of my own and some still images (both of which I already know how to generate), then put the still images at the appropriate moments of the audio. They might have to be onscreen for some time, perhaps minutes. I'd also like to be able to move the pictures around and zoom a little at will throughout their time on the screen, and if possible, to be able to add a couple of graphics such as arrows superimposed on the images. Finally I'd like to be able to save the whole thing as an independent video file that I could upload to vimeo and/or post on a blog.
(Oh, and I'd like no "cute characters" to be involved if at all possible.)
If anyone has any ideas, I'd be grateful.
Thanks for reading.
