What's up with XP 64bit?

First (at the XFINITY site) Norton says it don't do XP 64bit.Next thing I know MS service pack 3 says nope,me either.Can someone shed some light on this?

Windows XP 64 bit is pretty much unusable, always has been. It was a 64bit OS before its time therefore many developers simply ignored it.

SP3 isn't compatible with XP 64 bit and neither is Norton.

Instead, download and install Avast Free Version. Much better anyway.

Even better still, upgrade to Win 7 or 8.1

Windows XP is no longer supported, you really should upgrade to either Windows 7 or 8.1.
