What's wrong with my monitor?

Hello,

I just picked up a small Acer flat panel monitor at a garage sale. Of course, they said it worked perfectly. And it does. For about 15 minutes, then it shuts off. I can fire it right back up, it works perfectly again, for about 15 minutes, and again, shuts down. Any ideas? (Other than I have been had.)
