What's wrong with my wireless router?

I recently just received a Tenda W311R wireless router from the neighbor and there's no right way that I can find to hook it up. At first I thought it was because it had to hook up through a Vonage modem, which was causing the problem... but that doesn't seem to be the case, since I even tried it without that modem. Once it's connected, the network connection bars on the desktop go away and say it's connected, but it won't let me access the internet on it or any wireless devices (like my PS3). So if anybody has any ideas of how I can fix it, I would greatly appreciate it. And if you're wondering how I'm accessing the internet right now, I disconnected the router for the time being. Thanks!

P.S. I have no software for it and can't seem to find any software downloads online. It won't let me go to the router's IP address either.

Its probably still setup from the original internet it was connected to. There is a reset button to press on the back of the router. Its between the last lan port and the push button. Use the end of a pen to press and hold it for 10 seconds. Make sure you have a cable attached from the modem to the blue colored port on the router then another cable going from a yellow lan port to a pc.

Use 192.168.0.1 to access the router.

You are in luck cause I used to have a vonage router. What model of vonage router do you have?

Ok, you don't have the same one I had.

But basically you should be able to hook this up 2 different ways.

1. modem to router to vonage router - cable from modem to internet port on router, then cable from lan port on router to wan port on vonage router.

2. modem to vonage router to router - Cable from modem to wan port on vonage router, then cable from lan port on vonage router to lan port on router.

I would highly recommend option 1 though.
