Whats Wrong?

My latop dose this by doing nothing at all. I use word and some lines over a period of time come up, the longer i use it the worse it gets. I have to restart to make them go away. Its not overheating. So what is the problem?

You could try reinstalling your graphics drivers, see if it's something simple like that, but from the screen shot it looks as thought your LCD may be on it's way out...hope you have a warranty!
 
if it was the LCD's problem it shouldn't show up on that screen capture.

try messing with your resolutions, make sure you're on the native setting for the monitor and do what munkyeetr said about the drivers.
 
I have new windows and the latest drivers, but that didnt fix it. I think my video card is going out. I have had this comp overheat so bad that i could not even watch a movie. I already had the ram and the mb replaced
 
In that case I don't think there's much you can do. I guess you could try turning everything down to lowest settings (like "adjust for best performance") or something.
