what's your vista boot time?

just wondering what your vista boot time is? im buying a new computer soon and was wondering what kind of time it takes for you to turn on the switch to be using firefox or something. i'll be using Vista 64 Bit, 4GB RAM and a Q6600 processor btw

I use the alternate boot screen in Vista and it takes me about 40 seconds or less each boot.

is that seconds or minutes, lol, am just kidding, you have extreme hardware whereas me it took 1 min 25 secs to boot up damn, xp takes only 20.
anyhows i don't have the hardware to catch up 15, oh well, LIFE

How in the heck are you people getting those kind of boot-up times? (15-20 secs) It takes me like 15 seconds just to get through the Megatrend BIOS screen. Once that's over, it takes another 20-25 seconds to get to my Vista Desktop.

Whatever you're doing, that's awesome! I would love to see a boot-up that fast. Any chance a video could be made?

Isn't there someone in the registry you can delete/edit. It helps the boot speed or something like that.
