When I type it deletes letters in the front?

It's not just in word, but also on my browser google chrome. I tried pressing the insert key but it doesn't do anything, it just keeps doing it. I even checked to see if Sticky Keys was on, but it wasn't. The keyboard isn't dirty because it's not even a month old. I'm using a Lenovo Ideapad Z580. Help!

Try banging the Insert key, it might be stuck.

Since it's a laptop, maybe the insert button requires the function button or something.

I had this with the wifi button on a laptop I was working on. The wifi symbol was the same color as the rest of the keyboard and everything, but I had to press function, or shift, or maybe even both (can't remember).
