When I unplugged my headphones, the volume on my device became really loud

I don't know how it happened, but it did. I really need help because I don't feel like going on a computer set on with earrape.

Well, when I unplugged them, the volume became way louder. And say if I was watching a Youtube video, the talking would be unclear.
