when installing new software.....

on my new machine..(1 150gig raptor , 1 250 gig seagate barracuda) do i put my OS, games, and applications on my raptor and everything else on the barracuda. IE music and pictures and any other random stuff?

well it's a good thought, the 150 will be the C drive, while the 250 will be the D and also a backup.
Mine is like that i run xp on 80GB only and the 120GB is for everything else, music, movies and what not, so if somehow C crashes or turns out raw, i have my D.
(and plus i have another offsite backup of D) :)

i think you should put OS and progs on the raptor since it's the faster drive. you will boot and the actual applications will be faster. all the data/files that gets permanently saved should be on the seagate
